This recipe is a delicious pork filling dish for tamales. Prepare it for your tamales and change the traditional flavor of them. Ideal for breakfast. Accompany beans.

Ingredients

  • 455 grams pig, leg
  • 2 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 clove garlic, bare
  • to taste table salt
  • 1 leave bay (laurel)
  • 8 grains black pepper
  • 1 Red chili pepper, dry

Preparation

Remove the fat from the meat.
Cut into cubes and place them in a large pot.
Add enough water, onion, garlic, bay leaf, salt, peppers and chili.
Let it boil, constantly removing the foam from the surface.
Reduce the heat, cover and let cook for an hour.
Drain the broth (remember to reserve 1 1/4 cup) and let the meat cool.
Crumble with a fork and, if desired, refrigerate overnight.
