Pork or pork ribs, also known as ribs in the United States or thin ribs in the United Kingdom, are less meaty and softer than beef chops.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1.5 kilos pork rib, approximately 12 ribs
  • 1 tablespoon corn oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons bee honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Preparation

Mix the vinegar, ketchup, soy, honey, ginger and garlic in a large bowl.
Add the ribs and mix to cover. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
Place the tablespoon of oil in an Express® Pressure Cooker and heat. Seal the ribs in batches in the Express® Pressure Cooker over high heat about 3 minutes on each side. Go placing the ribs already sealed in a dish.
Pour 1 1/2 cups of boiling water (so that it does not jump) into the pot and scrape the bottom to deglaze it.
Add the ribs, close the pressure pot Express® and put the pressure regulator, place it in the stove with high flame for about 25 minutes or until constant steam comes out, low the flame to medium and cook for 45 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and let cool. Remove the pressure regulator and unclog. Rectify the seasoning and serve hot.

PRESENTATION

Serve with mashed potato or sweet potato pudding.

Costillas barbecue La receta está buena, pero con el permiso de Uds. me atrevería a sugerir, yo no le pondría jengibre, pero si ajo y los demás ingredientes más tabasco y lo sellaría y luego lo llevaría a horno cubierto con papel platino. Igual muchas gracias por la receta, me muero de ganas de comer unas costillitas BBQ.
