Homemade poblana recipe, bathed with our traditional Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce. The ribs BBQ is a classic within the gastronomy of Puebla; Try this delicious dish and we know that you can not just eat one.

  • 1 kilo pork rib
  • 1/2 liters apple juice
  • 5 chile de árbol peppers
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 50 grams candy, liquid
  • 300 grams Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce
  • 3 leaves bay (laurel)
  • to taste salt


Cook the pork ribs in water for 25 minutes, preferably in a pressure cooker, add ¼ onion, 3 bay leaves and salt to taste.
Hydrate the tree chiles with a little apple juice.
Place the cooked meat in a saucepan and pour the 300 grams of Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce; leaving it to marinate for 5 minutes.
Blend the previously hydrated tree chiles, add ½ liter of apple juice, a clove of garlic, ¼ onion and salt to taste.
Slowly place the pan with the marinated meat. Strain and pour the contents of the blender.
While the ribs are simmering, add the liquid caramel little by little, to caramelize the ribs for 25 minutes.


Decorate your dish with cold salad or spaghetti to the three cheeses.


The meat should be cooked medium term to avoid cooking. The caramel helps us thicken the liquid and concentrate the Original Hunt's ® BBQ Sauce.
