The potatoes will never be the same again with this exquisite recipe. Potatoes stuffed with meat with a spectacular Italian sauce and gratinated with cheddar cheese. Your guests will be fascinated. Try them!

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 3 potatoes, cooked
  • 12 slices bacon, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 orange bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 jar Prego® sauce with meat
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • to taste sour cream
  • to taste chives, to decorate

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
On a wooden board cut the potatoes in half, and with the help of a spoon whisk them, reserve what you removed.
In a pan over medium heat cook the bacon . Remove the excess fat, add the onion, beef and cook a few minutes.
Add the peppers and the potato you reserved. Add the Prego® sauce with meat and cook for 5 more minutes.
Fill the potatoes with cheddar cheese, add the previous preparation and bake for 10 minutes.
Garnish with cream and chives.

PRESENTATION

On an extended plate accompanied by a green salad.

TIPS

You can substitute bacon for bacon, for a lower fat content.
