Delicious beef ribs cooked for 2 and a half hours in beer and baked with an oriental sauce.

Salt pepper the ribs on both sides.
In a large pot that can also cover and then put the vegetable oil in the hot oven and brown the ribs so that they are completely sealed. Remove the ribs from the pot.
Add a little more oil and brown the ginger, onions and garlic for 3-4 minutes.
Return the ribs to the pot and add the beer and rice vinegar (be sure to cover the ribs completely.) Cover the pot and cook over low heat for 2 1/2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
Pour the hoisin sauce over the ribs, and place the pot without the lid in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven.
Remove the ribs from the pot and place in a serving dish.
To finish the sauce, remove the fat from above with a spoon and strain. Pour over the ribs and serve.
