Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground beef, for the sausage
  • 1 cup Pork Meat, ground for sausage
  • 3/4 cups bacon, finely chopped, for the sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, grated, for the sausage
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, for the sausage
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the sausage
  • to taste salt, for the sausage
  • to taste black pepper, for the sausage
  • 1 tablespoon paprika, for the sausage
  • enough Frank’S® Red Hot Original, for the sausage
  • enough plastic wrap, for the sausage
  • enough ice
  • enough beef broth
  • enough vegetal oil
  • 1/4 cups sour cream, for the dressing
  • 1/4 cups mayonnaise, for the dressing
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese, for the dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder, for the dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoons onion powder, for the dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice, for the dressing
  • enough hot dog bread
  • enough Frank’S® Red Hot Original, To accompany
  • enough parsley, To accompany
  • enough French fries, To accompany

Preparation

For the sausage, mix the beef with the pork, bacon, cheddar cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika; add Red Hot® sauce to make the meat moisten. Form sausages with your hands and wrap in plastic film, let cool in an ice bath for 30 minutes and cook in enough beef broth for 15 minutes. Let it cool. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add vegetable oil, brown the sausages for 5 minutes. Reservation.
For the dressing, mix the sour cream with the mayonnaise, blue cheese, garlic powder, onion and lemon juice in a bowl. Reservation.
To assemble the hot dog, place the sausage inside the bread and bathe with the blue cheese dressing and the Red Hot® Sauce; garnish with parsley and serve with french fries. Enjoy!
