Tinga Grandma's Recipe

This recipe for chicken tinga is one of the best, because as its name says it is a recipe from the grandmother and has all the flavor of the cuisines of yesteryear in Mexican cuisine. A recipe that has passed from generation to generation, making many happy with its flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of chicken breast
  • 4 pieces of tomato
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 2 branches of thyme
  • 2 leaves of laurel
  • 1 pinch of oregano
  • 4 pieces of marinated chipotle chile
  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • to taste of salt and pepper

    Preparation

    Cook the chicken breast with 1 clove of garlic and salt.
    Slice the onion in julienne. Finely chop the tomato, and the remaining garlic clove.
    Once the breast is cooked, unravel very well.
    In a pot add the onion, tomato, garlic and cook well.
    Season with thyme, oregano, bay leaf, salt and pepper to taste.
    Add the chicken and the chipotle peppers, cook for 15 more minutes so that the ingredients are well integrated. It serves.

    PRESENTATION

    Accompany with tortillas or toast.
