The Tinga Poblana is a typical Mexican dish made with shredded meat in a tomato sauce, with chorizo ​​and a light chipotle flavor. Serve with Tortillas Milpa Real and enjoy it at lunchtime or at a family taquiza.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 180 grams sausage, chopped
  • 700 grams flank steak
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 onions
  • 2 leaves bay (laurel)
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cabbage, grated
  • 2 chipotle chilies
  • 1 Avocado from Mexico, sliced
  • 1 cup meat broth
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 5 slices onion
  • to taste Milpa Real tortilla
  • salt

Preparation

Put the meat to cook in an express pot with garlic, bay leaf, salt and 1/2 onion, for 30 minutes. When it cools, drain and discard it, reserve.
Fry the chorizo ​​and remove the excess fat. Add the chopped onion and season it, add the tomato, cabbage, meat and broth of the meat. Mix, rectify the salt, put the chipotle and cook 15 minutes on low heat. Put oregano.

PRESENTATION

Put the meat on a platter, garnish with onion slices, avocado slices and chipotle peppers. Serve with hot tortillas Milpa Real

TIPS

It can also be made with chicken breast instead of meat. If we have too much tinga we can use it on toast, they look great!
