These delicious tacos of tongue drowned in chile tree and guajillo sauce are a very popular dish in Monterrey, prepare these tacos in the comfort of your home and enjoy with those you love.

Ingredients

14 servings
  • 12 pieces of Chile de árbol pepper clean
  • 2 pieces of guajillo chili pepper clean
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 2 liters of Water
  • 1 kilo of tomato
  • to taste of Sea Salt Sal Sol®
  • 1/4 of Cup of oil
  • 24 pieces of Corn tortillas
  • 1/2 kilo of beef tongue shredded
  • to taste of coriander finely chopped
  • to taste of onion finely chopped
  • to taste of green lemon To accompany

    Preparation

    In a comal roast the chiles de árbol, the guajillo chili, the cloves of garlic with peel until they release their aroma.
    Heat a pot over medium heat with the water and boil the ingredients you roasted on the comal with the tomatoes, boil for 30 minutes or until the tomatoes change to a darker color.
    Add the preparation to a blender with a little water and liquefy 3 minutes until you get a smooth sauce, season to your liking with Sal Sol® Sea Salt and reserve.
    Heat a pan over medium heat with the oil and fry the tortillas to soften, remove the excess fat with absorbent paper, fill with the beef tongue and fold, serve on a plate pour sauce into the middle of the tacos, accompany with coriander and finely chopped onion and a little lemon.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with cilantro and finely chopped onion.

    TIPS

    Try not to burn the chili peppers so they do not become bitter.
