Tongue tacos

Delicious beef tongue tacos accompanied by cheese and sauce.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1.5 kilos of beef tongue
  • 30 corn tortillas
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander
  • 5 lemons
  • 2 cups of green sauce

Preparation

Place the tongue in a pot with water over medium heat for about 2 and a half hours.
When the tongue is already cooked it is removed from the water and cleaned by removing the cartilage. With a sharp knife, slice it into thin slices.
The tortillas are heated and the tacos are served.

PRESENTATION

To serve the tacos put tongue on the tortilla and add chopped coriander, lemon and green sauce.
