This recipe for Christmas turkey is filled with a mixture of ground beef with flavors of bacon, ham and chopped apples. The beautiful color of the turkey golden is achieved with a torch or culinary torch.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 piece of Turkey 8 kg
  • 1/4 of Cup of Butter for the marinade
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg for the marinade
  • 2 cups of White wine for the marinade
  • 250 grams of ground beef
  • 250 grams of ground pork
  • 1 slice of bacon chopped
  • 50 grams of Serrano ham chopped
  • 2 pieces of apple peeled and chopped
  • 200 grams of seedless prune
  • 1/2 Cup of sherry
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 spoonfuls of cornstarch
  • 1 Cup of Red wine
  • 1 tablespoon of Refined sugar Great Value®

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
    For marinade, melt butter and mix with white wine and nutmeg. Reservation.
    Mix the beef, pork, and chopped bacon. Add the serrano ham, diced apples, chopped plum, and sherry. Season with salt and pepper.
    Fill the turkey with the meat mixture. Spread with salt and pepper all over the surface. Tie with hemp thread and inject with the marinade.
    Place the turkey in a turkey bag or cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 4 hours. Reserve the juices and in the last hour find out what to do.
    Remove the surface of the turkey from the oven with a torch.
    For the gravy, mix the starch with half a cup of water and red wine.
    In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of sugar. Add the wine and cooking mixture over medium heat for 5 minutes.
    Add the juices of the turkey, season and serve with the turkey.
