Turkey Tinga Tostadas

With this tostadas recipe, you can make the most of the Christmas turkey and have the perfect reheated. These turkey tinga tostadas are easy and very quick to make, since you only have to follow three steps for their preparation, which will take you about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1/4 onions, for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, for the sauce
  • 6 tomatoes, for the sauce
  • 5 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, for the sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth, for the sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups onion, in strips, for the tinga
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped, for the tinga
  • 2 cups turkey, cooked and crumbled, for the tinga
  • salt, for the tinga
  • black pepper, for the tinga
  • 1 package Charras® original tostada shell
  • lettuce, in strips, for the tostadas
  • sour cream, for the tostadas
  • fresh cheese, crumbled, for the tostadas
  • red onion, pickled, for the tostadas

Preparation

For the sauce, blend the onion, garlic, chipotle in adobo, and chicken broth until the mixture is smooth.
Heat oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion and garlic at medium heat until golden, add the shredded turkey and sauté for a couple of minutes. Add the tomato-chipotle sauce and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes. Let sit.
On a Tostadas Charras® amarilla sabor original, place lettuce, add turkey tinga, and add sour cream, queso fresco and picked onions. Serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve in an extended dish, accompany with sour cream, queso fresco and pickled onion.

TIPS

Fry the turkey before adding the sauce, this will make the tinga crunchy.
