Alfredo pasta with turkey

This recipe is ideal for using turkey reheating. The pasta has a creamy sauce with Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley and peas.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of leftovers from turkey
  • 1 bar of Butter
  • 1 teaspoonful of Garlic
  • 1 Cup of Parmesan grated
  • 1 Cup of cream to beat
  • 3/4 of teaspoonful of cornstarch
  • 1/2 can of pea
  • enough of pasta
  • to taste of Pepper
  • 1/4 of Cup of parsley chopped

    Preparation

    Put water to boil with salt and cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
    In a small pot, add 1 cup chopped turkey, 1 teaspoon garlic, and 4 teaspoons butter. Cook over medium heat until the butter melts, the garlic is cooked and the turkey is hot. Lower the temperature to the lowest to keep the turkey warm but do not overcook it. (It can be covered).
    In another pot add 1/4 cup of butter and 1 cup of whipping cream. Let boil and lower the heat a little. Add 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and move quickly so that it is incorporated and melted. Add 3/4 teaspoon of cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
    Add 1/4 cup chopped parsley and half a can of pea sauce. Stir well and season with salt and pepper.
    Stir the pasta with the alfredo sauce and serve a little turkey on top. Sprinkle with more chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
