Try these delicious ravioli stuffed with chamorros accompanied by an exquisite and acidita tomato sauce that makes a perfect contrast. Made from homemade pasta that will surely be the sensation.

Ingredients

10 servings
  • 2 cups of White flour
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 3 pieces of egg yolk
  • enough of Water
  • 1 piece of chamorro cooked and shredded, for filling
  • 1/2 Cup of red onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon of coriander finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste
  • 1/4 of Cup of beef broth
  • 1/4 of Cup of Red wine
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 4 cups of Water
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt
  • 2 cups of Hunt's® Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup of Cotija cheese to sprinkle
  • 1/4 of Cup of watercress to decorate

    Preparation

    For the ravioli dough add the flour, salt and yolk to the blender . Beat until the dough is incorporated well adding the water little by little. Work on the blender until you get a soft and elastic dough. Remove from the blender and rest the dough in refrigeration.
    For the filling heat a pan over medium heat and add the butter. Cook the shredded pork chamorro, the purple onion, the garlic, the cilantro, the chilli paste, the beef broth and the red wine. Cook about 10 minutes or until the liquid evaporates, season. Reservation.
    For ravioli, spread the dough and cut strips 10 cm wide by 30 cm long. Place a little of the filling (without liquid) along the strip of pasta leaving 5 cm of separation between each one.
    Rinse the edges with egg and place a strip of dough on top. Seal each end very well and cut with the help of a knife.
    Boil the water in a pot and add a little salt. Cook the ravioli for 12 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.
    Heat the tomato sauce for traditional Hunts® pasta in a pot and serve the ravioli with the sauce. Sprinkle cotija cheese and decorate with watercress.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with tomato sauce, cotija cheese and watercress.

    TIPS

    The water must be added little by little, since the amount depends a lot on the humidity of the environment.
