Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 kilos bacon, cut into pieces
  • 1 red onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pepperoncino Italian crushed red pepper
  • 500 grams Red tomato, minced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, minced
  • 1/2 kilos spaghetti, or any pasta
  • 1 cup pecorino cheese, chopped

Preparation

Put a large pot with water and salt to boil.
In a large skillet over medium heat, put the olive oil and butter. When the butter is melted, add the bacon. Cook the bacon over low heat until all the fat is released, stirring occasionally.
Remove the bacon from the pan and if desired, remove some of the accumulated fat (you have to leave a little to cook the vegetables). Add the onion and cook 7-8 minutes, until translucent. Add the garlic and dried chili and cook another 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and the cooked bacon . Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente. With some cooking tongs, remove the pasta and place it on the sauce and sprinkle with the chopped parsley. When all the pasta is covered with sauce, add 1/4 cup pecorino cheese
Pass the rest of the grated cheese so that each person puts it to their liking.

TIPS

Pecorino cheese is frequently used in Italian cuisine, if you can not find it you can substitute it with fresh Parmesan cheese.

Mafer, hubo un error en la receta pero ya quedo lista , el queso pecorino lo puedes sustituir sin problema por queso parmesano.

Preguntas sobre esta receta Por faavor, para que es el agua con gas, pues no se explica en la receta, a mas de eso en el listado de ingredientes no consta los tomates, que cantidad se necesita? y adicionalmente si puden poner el tipo de queso de manera generica, para encontrarlo en el lugar de residencia. la receta se ve bien, pero agradeceria aclarar de mejor manera, gracias anticipadas
