Pasta with Baked Feta Cheese

This pasta recipe is an easy and delicious option to prepare, because with just a few ingredients and a few minutes in the oven it is ready. That is why it has been a success in social networks, in addition to its taste is spectacular. Enjoy it with white wine and sliced bread.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cups cherry tomato, integers
  • olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • salt
  • black pepper, freshly ground
  • 300 grams feta cheese, whole
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon hot chili pepper
  • water, for pasta
  • 1 pinch salt, for pasta
  • 1 bag La Moderna® Big Elbow, (500 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for pasta
  • 1/4 cups basil, fresh, chopped
  • bread, baguette type, to accompany

Preparation

Preheat to 200 ° C.
Place the cherry tomatoes in a suitable baking dish, add enough olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper, and mix until integrated. Place the feta cheese in the middle of the bowl and the ingredients, add more olive oil and, on top of the cheese, add the oregano and pepperoncino. Bake at 200 ° C for 15 minutes.
While the cheese is in the oven, prepare the pasta. In a pot, bring the water to a boil and when it boils add the salt, wait for it to regain temperature and then add the Elbow Grande La Moderna® pasta. Cook for 7 to 11 minutes, drain, add a tablespoon of olive oil and let cool.
Remove the cheese from the oven, you will notice that it is soft, mix with the help of a spoon until it is integrated with the other ingredients. Add the Codo Grande La Moderna® pasta already cooked and the basil, add and correct the seasoning.
Serve immediately. Accompany with white wine and bread to taste.

TIPS

You can also prepare this recipe in a saucepan, if you wish. Just lower the heat and cook the feta cheese with the pot covered, checking constantly.
