A bread for breakfast are these puff pastry stuffed with jam that perfectly accompany a cup of coffee or tea or to finish a full breakfast.

Ingredients

16 portions
  • 1 egg
  • strawberry jams
  • 400 grams puff pastry

Preparation

With a rolling pin, stretch the dough in a rectangle.
Cut the rectangle in half and in each half make smaller squares.
In each box put jam from corner to corner taking care not to put too much or too close to the edges so that it does not overflow.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and bend the corners to the center to make a roll and leave a part uncovered.
Put the rolls in baking trays with waxed paper underneath them.
In a bowl whisk the egg yolk and the cream and with a brush paint the puff pastry so that they take a golden color.
Cook the puff pastry for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven.
