The candied tomato is a delight. The recipe is basically bake tomatoes over low heat for 30 minutes with spices.

Preparation
Clean the tomatoes, cut into halves and remove the seeds from the center.
Arrange the halves on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle with thyme, rosemary, sugar, salt and pepper.
Top with olive oil and garlic.
Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool.
