It is very true that since blenders are used to grind sauces, they have lost a bit of their traditional flavor. Nothing like a delicious fresh molcajete sauce to accompany a delicious meal. Here we present a delicious green sauce in molcajete with an incomparable flavor, thanks to the McCormick® Chicken Broth. This sauce is ideal to accompany a rich roast meat or tacos.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 tablespoon McCormick® Granulated Chicken Broth
  • 500 grams green tomato
  • 6 chile de árbol peppers
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh coriander, chopped

Preparation

Cook the tomatoes and chilies with water.
Add the tomatoes and chiles to the molcajete and mash.
Add the McCormick® Chicken Broth and continue pummeling.
Add the onion and cilantro. It serves.

PRESENTATION

Serve the sauce directly in the molcajete together with a wooden spoon.

TIPS

You can add squares of fresh panela. In case you want to chop less, substitute the chile de árbol for chile serrano.
