A delicious pasta sauce made with tomato puree, vodka and cream.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon guajillo chili flakes
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 bunch basil, cool
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Preparation

Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat and brown the garlic.
Add the Italian pepper and cook for 1 minute.
Add the vodka and the tomato puree and cook for 10 minutes stirring constantly.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the cream and Parmesan cheese and cook for 2 more minutes.

PRESENTATION

Serve with a pasta or ravioli.
