Okra is a very rich and healthy vegetable that is also known as turkish pepper and gumbo. This okra recipe baked in the oven is very rich and healthy because it is not fried.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 500 grams okra
  • 1 1/2 cups cornstarch, (cornstarch)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cups light milk
  • 1 egg
  • spray oil

Preparation

Pre warm the oven to 210 degrees Celsius.
Mix cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a deep bowl.
In another bowl mix the egg and milk and beat.
Add the okra to the egg and milk mixture and allow it to marinate for 3-5 minutes.
Now place the okra in the mixture of cornstarch and empaniza. Now place in a baking tray previously greased with cooking spray.
Bake for 40 minutes and serve.
