Ingredients

4 portions
  • 300 grams Chickpeas Legumes La Asturiana® *
  • 750 grams chard
  • 750 grams tomtato
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation

The night before, we soak the chickpeas in warm water with a teaspoon of salt.
The next day we wash them under a stream of water before cooking them.
Cook the chickpeas with the finely chopped chard and a little salt in boiling water.
While they are cooking, we prepare a sauce with the garlic and the tomato, to which the crumb of bread and the paprika are added.
We crush this rehash with the blender .
Once the chickpeas are tender, we remove part of the cooking broth.
Add the sofrito to the chickpeas with the Swiss chard, add salt and leave to cook for another 15 minutes.
