This rich couscous garnish is a rich way to vary it to a traditional rice. The recipe is very fresh thanks to the lemon and the parsley.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 1/4 cups Water
  • 3/4 cups couscous
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice, cool
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste black pepper, to taste

Preparation

In a medium-sized pot heat the water over medium heat until it boils. Add couscous and remove from heat. Cover and let the couscous cook in the boiling water for 5 minutes. The couscous must absorb all the water.
With a fork sponge the couscous and add the onion and remaining ingredients. It serves.

PRESENTATION

Decorate your dish with a leaf of parsley.

TIPS

Couscous can be found in the rice section of supermarkets or in Mediteranea or Arabic food stores.
