Fiber and Potato Gratin

To have the richest garnish I recommend you prepare this recipe for Mushroom Gratin and Potatoes that tastes delicious and is perfect with a good cut of meat.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 2 cups mushroom

Preparation

Peel and cut the potato into thin slices.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
In a small pot heat the milk with the cloves of garlic, nutmeg and thyme until it boils. Remove from the fire.
Grease a pyrex and place a layer of potatoes and mushrooms. Cover with 1/3 of the milk and 1/3 of the cheese, repeat with another layer of potatoes and mushrooms and so 3 times until the potatoes and mushrooms are gone.
Bake for 50 minutes or until they are well cooked and the cheese has browned.

PRESENTATION

Place a few sprigs of coriander or parsley in the saucer when presented.
