Preparation
Peel and cut the potato into thin slices.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
In a small pot heat the milk with the cloves of garlic, nutmeg and thyme until it boils. Remove from the fire.
Grease a pyrex and place a layer of potatoes. Cover with 1/3 of the milk and 1/3 of the cheese, repeat with another layer of potatoes and so 3 times.
Bake the potatoes for 50 minutes or until they are well cooked and the cheese has browned.
