This snack is easy, different and vegan. It will surprise the guests so much that they will not be able to stop eating.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cups of nopal cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 Cup of Hibiscus flower hydrated and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of chipotle chile pepper in puree
  • 60 grams of onion cut into thin strips
  • 1 piece of roma tomato cut into thin strips
  • 2 spoonfuls of olive oil
  • 2 grams of Salt

    Preparation

    Heat a large griddle or medium skillet until ready.
    Distribute the olive oil evenly over the pan to avoid sticking the ingredients.
    Put to sauté the julienne of nopal with salt until it is completely dry and without drool. Move constantly so it does not burn.
    Add the onion julienne to change color.
    Add the tomato until it dries a little.
    Add the jamaica and season with the chipotle pepper and salt.
    Leave on very low heat moving constantly so it does not burn for a few minutes.
    Serve with toast or tortilla chips.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a clay pot and serve with toasted tortilla chips or toast.
