The classic way to make mashed potatoes in France. It is a very simple recipe and has the particularity that potatoes are crushed to make the mash with a fork and hence the name of this traditional French dish.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 kilo of potato
  • 2 cups of whipping cream
  • 150 grams of Butter
  • to taste of black pepper

    Preparation

    Cook the potato in salted water until it is smooth (approximately 60 minutes).
    Drain and vigorously crush the potato with a fork.
    Boil the cream with salt and pepper and add to the potato.
    Mix and heat.
    Finish by adding the butter and mixing.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with a container to present or cut cookies to make the shape of a base.
