If you don't know what to cook as a garnish for your Christmas Turkey, these Cream Cheese Stuffed Baby Potatoes can be an excellent option. The size of the baby potato is perfect for when you want a garnish that is not too heavy, so your guests will have a greater serving of the main course. Ingredients

2 portions
  • 1 cup sausage
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons flakes of chili
  • 1 kilo cambray potato
  • 2 liters Water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • enough chives, finely chopped

Preparation

Heat a frying pan over medium heat, cook the chorizo until releases the fat, add the onion, garlic, cilantro, add the cream cheese and cheddar cheese, the chili flakes and mix until all the ingredients are incorporated. Place the preparation in a pastry bag and reserve.
In a deep pot with water and salt, cook the potatoes until they are soft, remove from cooking, drain and on a board cut in the shape of a cross without splitting it completely. Fill with the previous preparation, sprinkle with chives, serve and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Serve the baby potatoes on a tray sprinkled with chives.

TIPS

You can also bake the potatoes at 200°C (392 °F) for 20 minutes.
