Prepare this simple recipe of Mashed Potato with Ham. This dish is perfect to use as a garnish and accompany your main courses. The touch of Parmesan cheese gives it a very rich flavor, but you can also use Manchego cheese.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 liters of Water
  • 4 pieces of potato cut into cubes
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 2 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt
  • 1 tablespoon of White pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of nutmeg
  • 1 Cup of Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups of Ham cut into medium cubes
  • 2 spoonfuls of fresh parsley finely chopped, to serve

    Preparation

    For the puree, heat a pot over medium heat with the water, cook the potatoes with a little salt until they are very soft, strain and reserve.
    Heat a pot over medium heat with the milk, add butter and cooked potatoes, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. With the help of a crusher crush the potatoes to form the puree, cook until the milk is reduced and obtain a smooth puree.
    Add the Parmesan cheese, ham and mix, serve the puree and decorate with parsley.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a platter to share.

    TIPS

    You can pass through a sieve potato so that your puree is very smooth.
