This is the best recipe for arroz con leche, a very Mexican dish that is accompanied by raisins and ground cinnamon to taste. Prepare it you will love it.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 cup thick Sos® rice
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 rod cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cups raisin
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • cinnamon powder, to decorate

Preparation

Add the rice, the cinnamon slice and the salt to a saucepan.
Heat over high heat until it starts to boil.
Lower the heat and cover until it absorbs almost all the water.
Add milk and sugar.
Raise the heat and move until it thickens.
Add the vanilla and cook 2 more minutes.
Serve with raisins and cinnamon powder.

Muy bien la receta, solo cambie azúcar por un sobrecito de lechera de 143ml, todos los demás ingredientes al pie de la receta :)
