The traditional and typical recipe of rice with milk, I love preparing it because it is very easy and apart from everything it is very very rich, try it, you will not regret it.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 1/4 cups Water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cups rice, soaked in hot water for 20 min. and drained (110g)
  • 1/2 cans evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cans milkmaid

Preparation

Heat the water with cinnamon and when it boils, add the rice, cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Pour the milk and the carnation, mash it and continue the simmering for 20 to 25 minutes or until it thickens.
Serve warm or cold and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

TIPS

You can add orange zest during cooking.
