We share a delicious version of a classic dish of Mexican cuisine. The combination of McCormick® Chicken Broth, cilantro and rice makes this recipe taste spectacular. It's an easy recipe with a lot of aroma, your family will love it. Perfect for those days where you want to cook something delicious and you do not have much time.

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Chicken Broth
  • 50 grams onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 bunches fresh coriander
  • 100 grams rice
  • 300 milliliters Water
  • 200 milliliters oil
  • 1 zucchini
  • 30 grams lemon
  • salt, to taste

Preparation

Blend McCormick® Chicken Broth, onion, garlic, cilantro and 300 ml of water.
Place the rice in a bowl and cover it with hot water. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes.
Remove the liquid from the rice and dry it with a cloth.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the rice over medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
Pour the cilantro mixture.
Chop the pumpkin and incorporate at the last moment.
Add a few drops of lemon to the preparation (to whiten it), cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Let rest and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a deep dish.

TIPS

You can substitute cilantro for any other green herb, such as parsley.
