Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 on Knorr® Mi Arroz® red
  • 1 1/2 cups long grain rice, raw
  • 1 cup panela cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped and fried
  • 3 1/2 cups Water

Preparation

Wash the rice until the water is clean, drain well. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat and fry the rice stirring gently to avoid splitting. This should take a slightly golden color (very light) and the grains will separate from each other. Remove excess oil if necessary.
Pour the water and let it boil and empty the contents of the Knorr® MiArroz® Red envelope.
Let it boil and reduce the heat to the maximum.
Cover and let cook 20 minutes until the water is completely reduced.

PRESENTATION

Serve the rice cooked with the cubes of cheese and bacon, chopped and fried on it, to accompany your favorite dish.
