Ingredients

8 portions
  • 3 cups Sos® parboiled rice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup paprika, red minced
  • 1 cup onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken consommé
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 500 grams shellfish, cooked and frozen
  • 250 grams sausage, cooked cut into slices
  • 1 cup pea
  • 1 cup carrot

Preparation

Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the paprika, onion and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add chicken broth, turmeric, seafood and sausage. Cook until boiled.
Add the rice, peas and carrots; cover it Reduce the flame and simmer for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
Preparation mode and cooking time: 1 cup of rice 1 cup of water = 2 servings.
Mode for stove preparation: 1. Boil the water in a saucepan and add the rice. Stir gently. 2. For 5 minutes, let it simmer. 3. After withdrawing from the fire move with a fork to fluff it and let it rest covered.
Mode for microwave preparation: 1. Place the rice and water in a microwave-safe container. Stir gently. 2. It is introduced into the microwave for 5 minutes, at maximum power, although the time may vary. 3. When removing the container from the oven, move the rice with a fork to sponge it and let it stand covered.
