This is a traditional Costa Rican recipe that is usually used for breakfast, but can also be used at any meal time, is a balanced recipe and the ingredients are available anywhere in the world.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cups White rice, previously cooked
  • 1 cup bean, cooked with a little broth
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • 1 Chili pepper, medium sweet
  • 1 onion, median
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt
  • 30 milliliters sauce, lizano
  • 5 grams cumin powder

Preparation

Chop the onion, cilantro and sweet pepper, fry them in a pan with the two tablespoons of oil, when they are half cooked, add the rice, continue until it has a bit of roasting and finally add the beans and cook until it evaporates a little of the broth. At the end add the Lizano sauce and stir a little.
Cook the eggs and make them fried in oil add salt to taste.
Finally serve the Pinto rooster on a plate and place the egg at the same time and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

In a dish plate serve as a mound, you can garnish with basil, parsley. If you live in Mexico, accompany with tortillas. If you do not have, accompany with bread.

TIPS

Serve immediately after cooking, you can also accompany it with chopped eggs, avocado and chopped tomatoes. If the Lizano sauce is not available in your country, substitute Worcestershire sauce (English).
