Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 1/2 cups rice, long grain
  • 2 lemons, juice and zest
  • 1/2 cups almond, lightly toasted
  • 3 chives, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Boil the broth or water with a fist of salt over high heat. Add the rice, cover and let it cook for 20 minutes on low heat or until the rice is soft and fluffy.
Add the juice and lemon zest, almonds, chopped chives, salt and pepper. Move a bit with a fork to mix. Season again if necessary.

PRESENTATION

Serve with mushrooms or mushrooms stewed and cilantro.
