This rice is very rich, ideal for those people who love lemon in everything. It is the perfect garnish or the ideal dinner for the days that you look for light and delicious flavors.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 1/2 cups rice, long grain
  • 2 lemons, juice and zest
  • 1/2 cups almond, lightly toasted
  • 3 chives, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Boil the broth or water with a fist of salt over high heat. Add the rice, cover and let it cook for 20 minutes on low heat or until the rice is soft and fluffy.
Add the juice and lemon zest, almonds, chopped chives, salt and pepper. Move a bit with a fork to mix. Season again if necessary.

PRESENTATION

Serve with mushrooms or mushrooms stewed and cilantro.
