Broccoli is one of the most nutritious vegetables and by steaming it you can keep as many nutrients as possible. In this recipe it is prepared with a spicy oil and crunchy garlic slices.

PREPARE THE SPICY OIL. In a small pan, cook the oil, garlic, and dry chili powder over medium-high heat. Move frequently so that it does not burn until the garlic is browned, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and drain oil through a sieve. Reserve oil and garlic with chili separately.
COOK THE BROCOLI. Put 2.5 cm of water in a large pot and put a basket for steaming. Boil the water and when it boils, put the pieces of broccoli in the steaming pot. Cook until they are soft 4-6 minutes.
PREPARE THE PLATE. Put the hot broccoli on a plate to serve. Cover with the reserved oil (you can save the rest to use in another dish) and sprinkle with the golden garlic and dry chili that is reserved.
