Preparation
Preheat the oven to 375 ºF.
Cut the Brussels sprouts from the stem and remove the brown and yellow leaves from the outside. Cut in half.
In a large bowl, mix the oil, salt, pepper and add the Brussels sprouts until they are covered. Put on a baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes. With a spatula, brush the Brussels sprouts so that they brown on all sides and continue to bake for another 30 minutes. Stir again and cover with maple syrup. Finish baking for 15 more minutes or until soft (total cooking time in the oven is 45 minutes).
Mix Brussels sprouts with macadamia nuts and serve hot.
