Delicious recipe of cauliflower gratinated with Manchego cheese, is an ideal accompaniment to accompany red meats. You can also serve it instead of the salad.

4 portions
  • 1 cauliflower, big
  • 1 cup mayonnaise, natural or with lemon
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 limes, its juice
  • 200 grams Manchego cheese
  • 1 ulna chicken broth
  • 1/2 liters water


Put the cauliflower to cook in a liter of salted water and a cube of chicken broth. Leave it on medium heat for 10 min. or until the cauliflower is tender.
In a deep dish add the mayonnaise cup, the juice of the lemons and the eggs.
When the cauliflower finishes cooking, throw all the water and place the dried cauliflower in a rectangular refractory.
Place the mixture on top and sprinkle with grated Manchego cheese.
Put the refractory in the microwave oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is grated and the mixture looks thick.


Take it to the table in the refractory just out of the oven and accompany a good cut of meat. Advantage!!!


It tastes delicious if it is eaten warm. The lemon juice gives a touch of acidity to the mixture, if you want you can only put the juice of a lemon.

Sí Laura. Si metes la coliflor al micro ondas o al horno se cocina el huevo perfectamente. No te preocupes. Tengo muchos años de cocinar esta receta y no he tenido ningún problema de salud.

Pregunta Y el huevo se cosina bien cuando se le hagrega ala coliflor ya cosida y se mete al horno de microonda?  Si se cuece bien el huevo?  Esa es mi pregunta quien me puede responde.

A través de Android Esta receta quedó deliciosa. Le puse mi toque personal agregando queso parmesano rayado a la mezcla de huevo, mayonesa y limón. Adicionalmente agregué trozos de salchichas ahumadas a la coliflor.
