Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Heat a pot with water and salt over medium heat, cook the chayotes for 15 minutes, when they are soft remove the cooking, cool and reserve.
Place the chayotes on a board and with the help of a spoon, cup the center of the chayote and reserve the pulp.
In a bowl, mix the ham with the chayote pulp, the cream, half the cheese and season with salt and pepper. Fill the chayotes with this mixture.
Place them in a refractory oven, add the rest of the grated cheese and place a cube of butter to each chayote. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese gratins and the butter melts.
