The flutes are filled with oaxaca cheese and pumpkin flower. It is a filling commonly used in Mexico for quesadillas.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of squash blossom
  • 300 grams of Oaxaca cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • to taste of black pepper to taste
  • 12 tortillas
  • oils to fry

    Preparation

    Start by preparing the filling. Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a medium-sized skillet.
    Add onion and garlic and brown for 2-3 minutes. Add the pumpkin flower and cook for 5 minutes or until well cooked. Season with salt and pepper and reserve.
    Fill the tortillas with a bit of Oaxacan cheese and pumpkin flower filling. Make the tacos, you can put a toothpick so that the flutes do not fall apart.
    Heat oil in a pan and fry the flutes.
