Delicious huitlacoche quesadillas super simple to prepare but you will end up loving them for their delicious flavor.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1/2 kilo of tortilla dough
  • 4 cups of huitlacoche corn mushroom fresh or canned
  • 300 grams of Oaxaca cheese
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of vegetable oil
  • to taste of black pepper to taste

    Preparation

    Start by preparing the filling. Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a medium-sized skillet.
    Add half of the onion and garlic and brown for 2-3 minutes. Add the huitlacoche and cook for 5 minutes or until well cooked. Season with salt and pepper and pour into a deep dish.
    With a tortilla you have tortillas with tortilla dough.
    Fill the tortillas with a bit of oaxaca cheese and the huitlacoche filling. Seal the quesadilla well with your fingers.
    Cook the quesadillas either in a comal (if you want them without fat) or in oil if you prefer fried.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve hot quesadillas accompanied by a green or red sauce.
