This beet soup is very simple to prepare and can be served as thick or thick as you like.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 4 beets
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1/4 cups sour cream
  • 1 lemon, its juice

Preparation

Wash and remove the remains of earth that may have adhered, boil the beets with the onion in salted water.
Remove when they are tender (reserve the boiling water), peel and blend with part of the cooking water and the onion, pour all together the rest of the broth where they were cooked.
Add the lemon juice, sugar and season to taste, mix and heat.
Serve hot or cold with a dollop of delicious sour cream.

PRESENTATION

It can be very thin to very thick and can also be consumed both hot and cold.
