In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the coconut oil and sauté the onion and garlic until the color of the vegetables turns bright. Then add the Broccoli Eva® Bits, pour in the vegetable broth and lower the heat; cook 6 minutes or until the broth comes to a boil. Remove from heat.
Blend the previous mixture with the almond milk, cornstarch, whole pepper and coriander until completely integrated.
In a saucepan over low heat, heat the coconut oil and toast the chopped almonds, stirring constantly with a spoon. Once the almond turns a more golden color, pour the smoothie through a strainer and add the Bits of Broccoli Eva® that you reserved. Season with salt and cook for 8 minutes over medium low heat.
Serve hot in a bowl or soup plate. Garnish with chopped almonds, olive oil and chives.
