Nothing like a hot little calf! We give you this delicious Puchero Recipe that is typical of the North and South of Mexico, depending on the region they change the ingredients, but in the end it is still an exquisite preparation.

This Potato Recipe is made with beef stew and marrow with vegetables. A great tip so that your vegetables do not go over cooking, is that you can add them little by little: preferably begins with the slowest to the least delayed. Without a doubt, this easy Puchero recipe will become one of your family's favorite dishes.

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 4 liters of Water
  • 1 piece of onion cut in halves
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 2 kilos of chambarete beef
  • 2 kilos of marrow chopped up
  • 1/4 of Cup of coriander
  • enough of Salt
  • 2 pieces of corn cut in three parts
  • 1 piece of potato cut into cubes
  • 2 pieces of carrot cut into slices
  • 2 pieces of chayote squash cut into cubes
  • 1 Cup of green bean clean
  • 2 pieces of pumpkin cut into slices
  • 1/4 of Cup of peppermint
  • 1 piece of serrano pepper cut into slices

    Preparation

    Heat a large pot over medium heat with the water, add the onion, garlic, pot, marrow, cilantro, salt and cook for 1 hour or until the meat is almost cooked.
    Add the vegetables in the order indicated first the corn, potatoes, carrots, chayote, green beans, cook 10 minutes, add the squash, mint and cook until the vegetables are cooked. Serve with slices of serrano pepper. Enjoy with warm tortillas.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a deep dish.

    TIPS

    Remember that vegetables have different cooking times, some are ready before others. Do not add them all at the same time, always start at the slowest to the least.
