Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 kilo chicken, in pieces
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 tomatoes, in squares
  • 2 carrots, in squares
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 cups Water
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

In a casserole, heat the oil over medium heat and brown the chicken. Add onion, garlic and sauté until golden brown.
Once the chicken has browned, add the tomatoes, carrots and corn.
Place 3 cups of water, salt, pepper and cook for 25 minutes or until the carrot is soft and the chicken is cooked.
Dissolve the corn starch in the remaining water and pour it into the soup. Mix gently 3 minutes until thick.

TIPS

Add cilanto or parsley if you like it.
