Preparation
Sauté the bacon to brown and drain the fat.
Add the onion and leave for 10 minutes, add the potatoes and pepper, sauté a few minutes and add the clam juice, milk and half a cup of bottled juice. Leave uncovered to cook the vegetables are soft.
Add the can of corn and clams and let the soup thicken. Add the thyme and season with salt and pepper.
Serve with fresh minced thyme.
