This chile poblano cream is delicious and excellent entry for a Mexican meal.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 3 poblano peppers
  • 1/2 cup of evaporated milk
  • 4 slices of yellow cheese
  • 3/4 of cup of light cream
  • 1 can of corn small
  • 2 tablespoons of onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 liter of skim milk
  • chicken bouillon
  • 1 liter of skim milk Lala

Preparation

Roast and peel poblano peppers. Remove veins and seeds very well so they do not sting. Drain the corn. Fry the onion in butter.
Blend the peppers, evaporated milk, cream and cheese. Then add the fried onions and the corn, mix well with the milk to make a smooth cream.
Heat and bring it to a boil stirring constantly. Add chicken bouillon powder or salt to taste and serve immediately.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with corn or strips of poblano pepper.

TIPS

We can reserve a few cut corn kernels and small cubes of chile poblano for decoration.
