For these cold days, you want something warm, delicious, but simple to make, potato cream is a perfect choice! It reminds me of my childhood, of those rainy and cold days. My mom prepared the cream as a unique dish since it included serrano ham or chicken.

6 portions
  • 2 cups potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups chicken soup
  • 4 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cups celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 twig dry rosemary
  • 100 grams Serrano ham
  • salt, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons pending
  • 1/4 cups Nestle media creama
  • black pepper, to taste


Boil the potato cubes in water with a little salt. Remove and drain when cooked but still firm.
In a saucepan put the butter to melt and season the celery, the onion, once the onion is transparent, turn off.
Put the cooked potatoes, the collection (onion and celery), chicken broth, evaporated milk, salt, pepper and rosemary leaves in the blender jar. Liquefy.
Dissolve 2 tablespoons cornstarch in a little water, add the cornstarch and the half cream inside the grind.
Boil the cream with half-low flame, rectify seasoning and stir constantly until it boils.
Serve hot with Serrano ham.


You can decorate with sprigs of oregano, parsley, bread sticks, etc.

Correcciones en los Ingrerdientes. Hola! por alguna razón algunas líneas en la sección de ingredientes tienen algunos errores , les mando las correcciones: *1/4 de taza de pendiente picado------corrección : 1/4 de taza de APIO picado.*3 cucharadas de pendiente ------corrección :3 cucharadas de matequilla.*2 cucharadas de harina -----NOTA: Harina ó maicena . gracias
