Nopales soup with Chile Guajillo

Add to your daily menu this nopales soup with guajillo, it is economical, simple, low in calories and with a lot of flavor, very nutritious and ideal to take care of your family since it has a high fiber content.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of nopal
  • enough of Water
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking soda
  • 2 pieces of tomato
  • 1/4 of piece of onion
  • 2 teeth of Garlic
  • 4 pieces of guajillo chile hydrous
  • 5 cups of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Pepper
  • 2 cups of mushroom filleted
  • 1/3 of Cup of Tomato puree
  • 2 leaves of epazote

    Preparation

    In a table and with the help of a knife, cut the nopales into strips.
    In a pot of boiling water, cook the nopales with salt and a little baking soda.
    In a comal roast the tomatoes, the onion, and the garlic. Blend together with the previously hydrated guajillo, the chicken broth, salt and pepper.
    In a pot over medium heat heat the oil, add the mushrooms, nopales, salt and pepper. Add the tomato puree and the liquefied broth, let boil and add the epazote, cook for 20 minutes.
    Serve and accompany with lemon drops

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a dish and accompany with lemon.

    TIPS

    You can use the chiles that you like the most, like ancho chile or chile de árbol, it will be spectacular.
